Sam’s law enforcement career has been extensive with many assignments and responsibilities, but most importantly he has kept his eye on the objective: Productivity. He promotes a true Open Door atmosphere and reveals how valuable this can be to any organization. He believes the private sector teaches the public sector a thing or two about results. The private sector lives or dies by production. The public sector survives by tax dollars and thrives by the examples set forth in a successful private sector organization. Sam has owned four businesses; the first two that did not make a profit and the later two that did. He has seen both sides of the equation. He has had friends and clients who had incredible technical competence, but the inability to realize that to properly manage an organization requires more than mere technical skills. Managing an organization and staff requires a different set of skills.
